Orange, a leading telecommunications operator worldwide, has chosen Reemo to secure access to its business applications for its subcontractors. The Reemo solution, based on Zero Trust application containerization, replaces obsolete VPNs and offers simple, fast, and secure access, while guaranteeing the protection of Orange's internal infrastructure.
With millions of customers and infrastructure spread across the globe, Orange faces major challenges in terms of service security and performance. One of these challenges is allowing subcontractors to securely access the applications and resources necessary for their tasks, while protecting Orange's internal infrastructure.
Existing VPN or VDI solutions were no longer suitable: too slow or complex for third parties, they failed to meet security requirements or performance expectations. Moreover, it was not feasible to give full access to Orange's servers to third parties and to require subcontractors to install additional software on their machines.
To meet these requirements, Orange opted for Reemo solutions. Reemo Containers allows each session to run in a dedicated container, isolated from Orange's main network, providing a complete security barrier. Subcontractors access remote environments from a simple web browser, without installing any additional software on their computers.
Encouraged by the results and simplicity of Reemo solutions, Orange is exploring new opportunities to strengthen its infrastructure and plans to extend the use of Reemo solutions to other projects and business applications.
