We know how it goes: you're in the middle of a collaborative, training, or remote support session. You'd like someone else to be able to follow what's happening – to learn, supervise, or simply stay informed – but without the risk of interrupting the workflow with an accidental click or unwanted interaction.

At Reemo, we've listened carefully to your feedback on this specific need. That's why we are truly thrilled today to announce the launch of 'View Only' mode! A feature specifically designed to help you collaborate effectively, even when not everyone needs (or has permission) to interact directly.

What exactly is View Only mode?

It's very simple: View Only Mode allows a user to join a Reemo session and see everything happening in real-time, but without any ability to interact with the remote screen. No mouse control, no keyboard input possible from them. He or she is there to observe.

How does this mode help Effective Collaboration? In several ways!

We designed this mode to address concrete situations where observation is essential:

  • Training and skill development: A new team member can observe an expert perform a complex task without risk of error.
  • Discreet support and coaching: A supervisor or expert can follow a support session to evaluate or assist the agent, without interfering with the ongoing interaction.
  • Clear presentations and demonstrations: Give a demo to a large audience or clients, ensuring only the presenter controls the screen.
  • Project reviews and validations: Stakeholders can view progress or a specific configuration to provide feedback, without needing to intervene technically.
  • Enhanced security: For sensitive operations, allow visual supervision without granting interaction rights.

Key Benefits for Your Team:

  • Fewer disruptions: Observers don't interrupt ongoing work.
  • More focus: The active user and observers can concentrate on their respective roles.
  • Smooth collaboration: Facilitates information sharing and supervision.
  • Optimized training: A safe environment for learning through observation.
  • Precise control: You decide who interacts and who observes.

How to activate View Only mode?

We've made it very intuitive. You'll find the option to invite a participant in view-only mode directly in an organization user's profile card. A few clicks are enough to activate this feature, by clicking on “view only”.
